Path of Life Rose Garden
Path of Life Rose Garden Offers Sanctuary and Remembrance
In
May of 1996 a special
tribute
garden called the “Path
of Life” was given to Oklahoma City by the Oklahoma Breast Care
Center and the John E. Kilpatrick Horticulture Center on the Oklahoma
State University-Oklahoma
City campus.
Designed to permanently honor friends or relatives affected by breast cancer,
both survivors and women who have lost their lives to breast cancer, the
Path of Life rose garden is a beautiful place to meditate, celebrate, contemplate
and remember. It also serves as a reminder of the importance of early detection
of breast cancer.
The Path of Life Garden includes beautiful hybrid and antique roses,
perennials, stone walkways, arbors, and stone benches.
Donation
opportunities are available and include the honored woman’s name
beautifully engraved within the garden. For information call the Oklahoma
Breast Care Center at (405)755-2273 x. 122 or
